Bailey, Lucy, Old and New

This morning we had a small photo shoot with Bailey and Lucy, the two dogs of Joe's family. As you can see Bailey, is sweet, young and restless. On the other hand, Lucy is very dignified and poised. I guess we all get like that when we reach a certain age :)

The Smithsonian

Hi everybody. These days I'm in Washington D.C. visiting the brother (Joe) of a very good friend (Mr. Blessing) and went to do sightseeing. So, today we went to the Smithsonian Museum, well... one of them, and discovered some amazing exhibits. Hopefully, in the next days I'll have more photos to post from other places in D.C. Enjoy!

The Turkish Oud Player

This is my good friend Beau. He's a wonderful musician who plays the Turkish Oud among other instruments. I asked him to be my model for the Final project I had to prepare for the Photography Class. As you can see, this musical instrument is very photogenic and in my opinion it makes for a compelling subject. I would highly encourage you to visit his website and check out his amazingly interesting music. If you look carefully you'll find also a video with both of us playing a Romanian folksong called The Skylark (Ciocarlia) violin and guitar version.
A great day to you all!

My Father's Garden Flowers

For me, summer is a wonderful time. It's the time when I get to go back to my home country Romania, visit my parents, friends and also my dad's wonderful garden. These photographs were made last summer and I would say it's the first more serious flower photography that I've done. I don't seem to stop being amazed about the richness and beauty of a simple garden flower. Nature is wonderful, and taking photos in nature is even more wonderful!

The Retriver Saga

So... here I am together with my wife Vicky, winter break, visiting a close friend (Mr.Blessing) down in Cincinnati who has these two incredibly photogenic dogs Annie and Casey. Here are some of the most interesting shots I've taken during our nice and long walks in the Park.
Happy New Year everybody!
