Needless to say, Spring is definitely my favorite season. I love color, I love flowers, I love the sun and I love the fresh air that brings life.
Today, I had a wonderful time taking photos and experimenting.
About a week or so ago I figured out there exists an adaptor that will allow me to use other kind of lenses on my Nikon. It's called a M42 Screw Mount Adaptor. I ordered it on Amazon and today it arrived.
All the tulips were shot (as in photographed:) with my trusty D90 with the 50 mm f 1.8 Pentacon prime lens. This is a lens made in Germany which came with my Praktika film Slr.
I used manual focus since the adaptor makes useless any auto-focus.
I discovered that this lens gives best results around f 4 and overall delivers a gorgeous creamy bokeh.
The rest of the shots were made with a great sharp little zoom lens from Nikon 55-200 VR.
My next project, experiment with different lenses using adaptors!
Enjoy the shot and happy shooting.
