Nikon D600 Mini Review

I'm just blown away by this camera! I've been waiting for about 3 years and I'm so happy I did that. This camera is everything I wanted, coming from a DX class DSLR. It arrived this morning from and I've been testing it all day. I used the 50mm f/1.8 which turns out to be not only very sharp wide open but also focus faster than anything I've seen, including the latest and greatest pro zoom lenses. Except the photos where I mention the ISO, all has been shot at the native ISO of 100 wide open around f/1.8 to f/2.8. I tried ISO 6400 which is the photo bellow and I was stunned since I've never experienced first hand such a quality result. This camera is a revolution for my photography.  Get one while it's still available, you won't regret it!

Mr. Mansur & Mr. Cello

Here are couple of portraits I've taken yesterday. All shoot with the 50mm f/1.8 wide open at f/1.8
I just love the bokeh I get with this shallow depth of field and I think it suits busy location where you need to isolate the subject from the surrounding junk. More to come.
